Refund Policy
At Pustakshala, we want you to be happy with your books. Sometimes books may come damaged or we might send wrong items by mistake. Here is our refund policy for such cases:
When Can You Return Books?
You can return books only in these two cases:
- Damaged Books: If your book has torn pages, missing pages, printing mistakes, or water damage.
- Wrong Book Delivery: If we have sent you a different book than what you ordered.
Time Limit for Returns
You must contact us within 7 days after you receive your books. We cannot accept returns after 7 days.
How to Return Books
Follow these simple steps to return your books:
- Contact Us: Send email to care@pustakshala.com. Please mention your order number and problem details. For damaged books, please send photos also.
- Pack the Books: After we approve your return, pack the books carefully so they don't get more damage during transport.
- Send the Books Back: We will try to arrange a courier service to pick up the package from your location. If that's not possible, we will provide an address where you can send the books. Please use a courier service that gives tracking number.
Getting Your Refund
After we receive your returned books and check them:
- Refund Method: We will send money back to the same payment method you used for buying.
- Refund Time: Your money will come back within 5-7 working days after we process your return.
- Shipping Cost: If the return is because of our mistake (damaged book or wrong delivery), we will also refund your shipping charges and pay for return shipping.
Book Exchange Option
If you want to get the correct book instead of money back, please tell us clearly in your email. We can exchange books if they are available in our stock.
Books That Cannot Be Returned
These books cannot be returned:
- Books that look used or read
- Special order books (unless they are damaged)
- Books marked as "Final Sale" when you bought them
